Annie's Shower

Precious Annie, practically family is having their first baby in a month. Baby Pope is so loved and prayed for already. Today I was able to celebrate beautiful Annie and her sweet baby with her family and close friends. It was my honor to take photos of this special time in her life. Annie, we love you so much and can't wait to hold little baby pope!

Just a glimpse into my day...

Here are some precious pictures of Beckham hanging out with Mom and Dad. Since I put him on a very strict schedule he has been such a happy and well rested little boy. Recently he started making dinosaur sounds...interesting.

Rice Cereal Please

What an exciting week for Beckham, his first haircut and his first bite of cereal! He didn't know how he felt about it but he did swallow some of it (the part that wasn't on his bib, face and hands).

Big Boy Haircut

Yes, Dirk finally broke down and let me cut the rest of Beckham's hair. No more mohawk for my little boy!

A Much Needed Break

This past weekend my mom and I celebrate a belated Mother's Day at Craguns Resort. I had no idea that we would be stepping back in time to the 70s, but oh yes it had fake wood walls and orange counter tops. Despite the retro decor we had a great time visiting, exploring, going to the spa, shopping and relaxing. My mom, the early riser got up at 5 and woke me up for the beautiful sunrise so I snapped a few photos. My mom has done so much for me and I am so thankful for her love, support and babysitting. Love you Mom!

Too cool!

I am sure that is what you are thinking when you see Beckham in his hot new shades. They are still a little bit big so ignore the bulk of fabric on the side. He has worn them for a few walks and doesn't seem to mind them, besides he makes everyone we pass laugh! Thanks Maureen for the cool shades.

Finger and Toes

It is official, Beckham has found his thumb. It is so cute how he sticks it in his mouth but doesn't know what to do with the other fingers yet. He is growing and changing so fast and we are loving every minute of being his parents!

Springtime in Minnesota

Well, the calendar says it's springtime here in Minnesota and I am hoping we get some warm weather. How long until I can put the sweaters away? Beckham and I did some planting last week and as you can see he really enjoyed it. He started out in the bouncer, then took a nap in the swing and finally in the Moby Wrap. My favorite part is how bundled up he had to be for our "spring" planting. Summer will eventually come, won't it?!?

Mean, Green Knitting Machine

My sister-in-law who is very talented at knitting gave me a few lessons over the last 2 weeks and I love it! Thanks Kelly! Dirk makes fun of me because I have now made 4 green hats, I may have to branch out and buy a few new colors. Here are a few photos of Beckham with my homemade creations, my first green hat (filled with holes) and his taggie. I also put a photo of him with Billie lounging on the couch...gotta love it.

Smiles for Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day! I thought I'd show off a few photos of Beckham's smile. I am honored to be his mommy!
