In April the kids had their photos taken with my parents. Beckham was 27 months and Evalyn was 10 months. I just love their bright eyes and sweet expressions. It is fun to have some pictures that show the love of grandparents. The pictures were taken by Parkplace Studios.

A day late with a heart overflowing with gratitude. This Easter as I did nothing to prepare my heart for His coming I was overwhelmed. Think of it...


He sacrificed HIS SON...HIS ONLY SON...


Beckham...


My heart flutters with love for my only son. I adore him. He amazes me. I would do ANYTHING to protect him from the smallest of hurts. I wouldn't do it. I couldn't do it. That is, sacrifice him for anyone else.


That is how much he loves me. He did it for selfish ungrateful me. That proves he is God.


And so I count my blessings:

124. For my mom coming to the rescue once again.

Blessings 111-120

Another weekend passed and we are onto our week. We are trying some new therapy for Beckham called brushing. We have to do it every 2 hours and do it just the right way in hopes that it will reorganize his sensitivity to foods. I am committed to praying for him each time I do it (over the next 4-6 weeks) and am asking you to do the same.

Bananas, Suckers & an Egg Hunt

It is amazing how a sucker and a banana can turn an ordinary Saturday into something special.

Yes, my sweet Evalyn would take a bite of her banana and then tuck it back into her bib.

She totally cracks me up!

Beckham chose a sucker as his treat of choice today. As you can see he really enjoyed it.

This morning Beckham and I went to an egg hunt. It was FREEZING! The thermometer said 37 in my car and that didn't account for the tornado like winds. Not really what I had in mind for the egg hunt but Beckham did great! We are hoping for nice weather and that Evalyn can join us next year!
